At Uxbridge we just love to celebrate and join in all our cultural festivals. It's a time of celebration, learning about different traditions, foods, clothing, art and beliefs. Today was Diwali and we had a wonderful celebration. We enjoyed dressing up, learning a special dance with Teacher Anu and listening to the Diwali day story (we really liked that it had a princess in it), making rangoli patterns and lanterns and best of all making Samoa's with Shute (Shaan's mum). What a great day!!
