An oldie but a goodie is the baking soda and vinegar reaction! Our tamariki just love requesting the ingredients to do this science experiment in the sandpit.
First they build their volcanoes. Sometimes this is done in collaboration or indiviudally depending on the wants of the children involved. Next, they gather something that they can pour the red vinegar into ( the lava). Once they are ready the fun begins as they make their volcanoes erupt!
