| Our scheduled sport for Day 6 was rowing. We studied photos of rowing skiffs. |

| Then we set up our very own boats in which to compete. |

| We all helped to tape the cardboard together. |

| Then we practiced the tricky task of getting in. |

| Lifting our legs high we kept our balance and settled ourselves into the seats. |

| Oars at the ready and with our supporters waving banners we rowed along the course. |

| Many races took place throughout the day. |
 |
| Some rowers used one oar and other rowers used two oars. |

| After the serious racing we used our boats for other adventures.. |

| Including an overnight trip to Waiheke and a fishing trip. |
