Our Easter Garden!!

With Easter coming just around the corner we decided to transform our garden.......  Thank you to all the children who helped put it together today and hung all the eggs on the tree and planted the flowers.  Countdown to the big Easter Party, only 5 sleeps to go!!

Claire and Deanne!!

Claire and Deanne Tadpoles are certainly happy in their new environment at Kindy, eating eating eating and Deanne tadpole is getting very large very quickly!!  Thanks Ava for bringing them in, we are very honoured you named them after two of your teachers.  We will be sure to look after them and can't wait to see them transform into froggies!!

Farewell our beautiful butterfly!!

One minute a chrysalis, then next a beautiful Monarch butterfly!!  What a truly special moment for us all to watch this morning.  We were all so wonderful at just using our looking eyes and quiet voices as our beautiful butterfly dried her wings ready to fly.  Then it was off into the big world for some new adventures.....

Swamp Fun!!

After making a swamp for our animals this morning, we just couldn't resist jumping in ourselves, it was so much fun!!

Burning Hot Lava

Finn thought today would be a good day to start a rock band.  Setting up a cordon - away from the crowds of fans, the band entertained us all.

Band Members consisted of  Lead Vocalist Finn, Drummer/Vocalist Matthew, Percussionist Nate, Iris, Renee and Amber.  Matthew invited anybody nearby to join the band and he came up with the band name - Burning Hot Lava!

After belting out a few tunes, I am picking they are a Heavy Metal Group.  Their most popular hit was the song "Burning Hot Lava" which entirely consists of repeating the title"Burning Hot Lava".

We look forward to documenting some more music from this enthusiatic new band.  Watch this space!
