Springy Art

Liz found a new art idea on Pinterest, so she rushed up to the shops and bought 3 squishy balls and 5 slinkies.

Renee said " it was fun and I got dirty green hands like Jo."

Tristans hands were so green he thought they looked like the hulks hands.

The springy ball and the slinky were both fun to use

It left us with really green hands

Renee said"it had a ball in it and I did squeeze it.  There was a ball inside it that made colours"

Chloe enjoyed this new squeezy experience

THE UXBRIDGE AMERICA'S CUP TEAM

This is the super catamaran we constructed today.  Check out the innovative steering positions towards the bows.   We will definitely be able to see very clearly where we are going.

Then we got our cyclors on board.  We looked at the Yacht Squadron magazine to see what we needed to do.  With our legs pumping we flew along.

For our Mummies on Mothers Day - A special song for you 💗💛💜

It's Claire's baby!!

"What's this?" teacher Claire asks the children at mat-time this morning as she holds up a funny picture.

We have a close look.........

Gabriel says Ït's a mummy, a mummy baby"
Summer says Ït's a rock"
Saracen says Ït's a hole"
Jack says Ït's a flying fox"

Claire tells us it's a picture of her baby she is having.  It is growing inside her belly, we could see the head and the body.  How exciting!!!  I wonder if it is going to be a girl baby or boy baby???  We will just have to wait to find out.

Congratulations Claire xxxxx

Sealegs

Today Jack decided to embark on a voyage in a boat with wheels.  A boat with wheels?  Then I remembered those new fangled boats that drive into the sea.

Cooper cried out "Sealegs!"' Cooper's boat was a dinghy inside a boat - (you can see there are two).
We used the ipad to look at Sealegs for sale but alas we can not afford one.
Fortunately, the boys made several so we now have our own Sealegs.
Cooper knew that he wanted/needed a big motor for his boat and with the help of the hot glue gun he managed to glue it on the back.
All of our Fishing magazines came out and we had some gasps of excitement at the size of some of the fish caught.

Tristan also made a boat which he decorated himself with the hot glue and an assortment of buttons.

After making their boats the boys also made fishing rods with iceblock sticks and wool.
