How do we cool down when it's hot? Ice blocks of course, but not the kind that you eat. Today we had blocks of ice in our trough that had flowers and herbs frozen in them. Paint brushes, pipettes and jars of coloured water were also there to be used.
We are exploring the ice blocks and finding out what happens when we drip water on them and brush them with a wet paint brush.
Our ice has started to melt and now we are able to remove some of the herbs and flowers from inside. They smell wonderful!
