We're going on a flower hunt.......

It's spring time and the bulbs are out in full bloom!  With all our planting and gardening at the moment, we have been very observant in noticing all the beautiful flowers around us! Jo also tells us that this it's really good for the bees too, yay!  Tristan, Iris, Renee, Esme, Remi, Dominic, Fletcher and Harper all wandered around the garden, finding and picking different flowers.  As we gathered them for our collage picture, we touched, smelt, looked at the petals and stems, talked about their colours and Liz our avid gardener gave us all the names of them - what a lot of them (Impatients, forget-me-nots, cinneria, sweet ellis, buttercup, dandelion and daisies). Once we had our collection of flowers, it was time to get creative putting glue and flowers on our paper, making a wonderful collage, what a beautiful piece of group art!
