Part of keeping our new playground beautiful is looking after our plants. With this in mind we are encouraging the children to help us weed the barked area's by backing up their trucks and taking out a load to the compost bin. It is a bit tricky knowing what plants are weeds and what are plants we want to keep so we tried to explain by talking about size. The small growths between the bark we can pull but not our big plants. It was very important however to stay away from the Flower garden as we have lots of seedlings sprouting and they are small too. We only weed the barked area's around the sandpit. What a great helper Ethan and his friends were, so keen to keep our playground clean.
