Sometimes it is hard to know , where an idea comes from, but it could have come from a story we read at morning kai? Reading a book about shuttles? It could have come from trying out making a sandcastle from the large cone? However it happened , it was just so much fun and so many of our friends just mucked in and got down and dirty to make this project work! At first , just Esmond and Isaac started filling the cone with sand and trying with teacher Liz to make a giant cone sand structure. They say when something doesn’t work , it isn’t a problem—and that is just the way this this happened. We just decided to try something different and Jacob, Isaac and Esmond were quick to notice this too and the decision was then to fill up the cone from the top instead of the bottom. Well, that didn’t work either! Then the water got involved and the sand and yes, the thought was to plaster the sides with this wonderful and messy concoction—and yes this idea seemed to be the answer all along! I don’t know if a little bird told everyone, but someone must have because the assistance to what became a project was well just fantastic!!! Just look at the photos and that will show you what great team players we have at Uxbridge—Awesome Teamwork everyone!!
