Easy kids pizza dough

Our pizza shop has been a hive of activity since we were gifted a pizza from Sam on his last day for the family play corner.  Each day the pizza shop has been in action with many hungry customers eager to purchase a pizza, we even had some telephone orders.  The downstairs oven was too busy, it just couldn't keep up!!  Having discussed our favourite pizza toppings earlier, it was time to search for a dough recipe, gather some ingredients and put our chefs hats on once again to help this back log of orders.  Our skills in the kitchen and ability to follow instructions and a recipe has definitely improved lately with the amount of cooking and baking we have been doing, this was proven again today as we made our very own pizza's. Yum!

 Recipe
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon dried yeast
1 cup of water
1 tablespoon of olive oil
pinch salt
toppings as desired

Combine flour, yeast and salt.  Add water and olive oil and mix well.  If the dough is too sticky, add more flour.  Roll into a ball and let it sit for 1/2 hour.

Roll out the dough on a flour covered work surface and add toppings as desired.
Bake at 200 degrees C for 10-15 minutes.

The Pizza Shop!

In the afternoon it was time to make our own style pizza's, there were some interesting combinations as we added toppings to our pizza base.  Tomato sauce was a must!!

What to do on a rainy day!!

We had been given step by step precise instructions on how to make the most delicious blueberry muffins by Cambell who had made them the day before with mum at home.  Being a rainy day, what better to do than put our bakers hats on.........

A list of ingredients, check.
Baking equipment, check.
Very keen bakers, check.

There are many ways to dry a picture!!

Using a hair dryer, how wonky is that!!  What a fun and different way to experiment with technology. Holding the hairdryer and moving it, blew the dye around, sprawling it in different directions, this gave our pictures a different effect.
