Welcome Back Elfie

The first of December is the first day of Summer and also the day that we welcome a very special visitor back to Uxbridge. Elfie the Christmas Elf has returned from the North pole and will stay with us until Christmas. Having Elfie in the centre is lots of fun as he hides in a different place every single day and it is up to us to find him. He also brings us a surprise in our Christmas countdown calendar each day.

This week Elfie has been found hiding beside the countdown calendar, on top of the planet Venus in our model solar system, in our Christmas tree and with our dolls in the family corner.

The first treat of the week was an ice block to celebrate the first day of Summer, the next treat was a new Christmas book for us to share. Thursday's surprise was some Christmas stickers and today Elfie brought us a special recipe for North Pole Coconut Snow Sprinkle Loaf which he had carried all the way from home with him.

Elfie has lots more Christmas surprised for us and I am sure he will be hiding in all sorts of different places. We will be keeping you posted on Elfie's exploits!
