BASKETBALL
On day one of the Uxbridge Olympics we began with the basketball. We used chalk to draw the lines for our small court and we all succeeded in scoring a few goals - dunking a few and the occasional three pointer!
The skillful Finn and Nate stood back and took some long shots.
Jaxon was more precise - dunking his through the hoop.
Kain used the two hand jump shot to sink his ball.
Evan used his aim to score a point through sheer determination.
Amber's shot cleared the net.
Summer did a running throw, with a rebound that won the game!
ARCHERY
Oliver showed fantastic perseverance, practicing over and over again how to string his bow and make the arrow fly true.
After being shown the technique, Evan tried it on his own.
Just look at the focus...
