What a fun day we had bringing one of our beloved storybooks to life — Pinkalicious!
The children worked together to mix the ingredients and bake delicious pink vanilla cupcakes. There was lots of excitement as we measured, poured, stirred, and watched our creations bake in the oven.
Once the cupcakes had cooled, the children carefully decorated their own with icing and pink sprinkles, just like the ones “Pinkerella” enjoyed in the story. They showed great patience and creativity as they added their special touches.
Of course, Cheeky Jojo couldn’t resist taste-testing a few cupcakes… and just like in the book, her face turned pink! Luckily, she remembered to eat some cucumber to turn herself back to normal. What a funny moment that had us all giggling!
We then gathered together on the mats outside in the shade to enjoy our delicious cupcakes. Sharing this sweet treat with our friends made the experience even more special.
