This week we have our Matariki Feast - just like the story Daniel's Matariki feast.
Today the children brought in a vegetable to roast. We collected them in a basket.
The tamariki did amazing to peel the vegetable and prepare them to be cooked. Some children had helped with this before at home and for some it was their first time using a peeler.
We had a great variety of vegetables and they smelt so yummy while they were cooking.
*Potato
*Orange and Red Kumara
*Onion
*Pumpkin
Carrot's
*Tomato
Most of the children were not keen to eat the Roast Veges for lunch which really surprised us but a few of our friends really enjoyed them.
