Our carpentry project
Today was finally the day we had all be
waiting for. It was time for our carpentry project! Christmas is around the
corner, so we thought it would be a great idea to make a Christmas tree to
brighten up our outdoor environment. Last week we drew our plan and visualised
what we wanted it to look like. This week we began painting the wood that would
later be designed into a tree. Today Elle and Chloe’s dad, Marshall, came to
assemble all the pieces that we had prepared, which were the trunk, base, and
the branches. He brought a special drill to cut out circles in some wood and
create baubles to decorate the tree. A big thank you to Marshall for helping us
with this Christmas tree project. We all appreciate your help. What an amazing
project to build and develop our carpentry skills!
