Every month we go for a walk to visit the residents at Gulf Views to have a chat, sing and dance, and play games. These visits are a valuable learning experience where the children explore empathy, compassion and foster connections between the young and older generations. By these regular outings the children are growing confidence in making conversations. The children participating in these visits also brings joy to both; as well as strengthening our sense of community. The children helped scoop pot pourri into beautiful hesian bags as gifts for the residents which made their day.
