Saying goodbye to our butterflies!!

For days we have been watching our chrysalis's, just waiting for them to break out and become beautiful butterflies but sadly it seems something has happened in the process.   Taking a closer look, our chrysalis's have broken open but our butterflies for some reason have not been able to push themselves out. Looking for answers we googled why??  We also thought we would ask google if we could safely remove the chrysalis from around the butterfly to see what had happened inside.   We watched the video clip and then Claire carefully removed the chrysalis.  Curious to see what was inside we pulled out the magnifying glasses to examine and get a closer look.  We all felt a little sad for our butterfly friends but found them a perfect spot in the garden to lay to rest, thank you Uxbridge friends xx
