Sometimes the hardest thing about vegetable gardening is waiting for them to get big enough to eat!
We have been watching our carrots for a couple of months now as the tops have gotten bigger and bigger and at last we noticed the top of an orange carrot starting to pop out of the ground. Even though our carrots are still pretty small we decided to pick some and eat them to make room for the others to grow bigger.
They were delicious!!!
