One of our grass plants had started to die off so Nikki has pulled out the dead bits. She asked the question "What could we do with these?" Someone suggested that we could make a straw house like in The Three Little Pigs! We all thought that this was a great idea so that is exactly what we did!
Of course if you have a straw house you need a stick house and a brick house too! Everyone helped to gather twigs to make our stick house.
Then we all worked together to glue them on.
Jono suggested that we should use felts and crayons to colour in the brick house. He decided that it should be red.
Then we decided to act out the three little pigs at mat time so we assembled a cast.
What a fun morning we had with the three little pigs and their houses!
