Growing a bean in a bag

Spring is here, and we have been growing some broad beans in ziplock bags for the children to observe and learn about the seed germination process. Each child has their beans in their ziplock bag, and some of them wrote their names on them, showing their great literacy skills. Teacher Laura brought a wonderful book called ‘The Music tree’, that the children adore. We were inspired by the story, in which a boy played some music for his seed to grow. We thought we would play some musical instruments, just like in the storybook, for our bean seeds to grow.

Riya played the bells.

Scottie played the xylophone.

Marley played the drums.

Chloe played the maraca and the drum.

We wonder if all this music will help our seeds to grow ?
