We have been talking about our special native bird the kiwi as October is save the kiwi month. The kiwi bird is such a special taonga and we want to raise awareness within our community of what we can do to help.
Setting up a special focus area for our tamariki has enabled them to explore books and facts about our kiwi. We have also had fun making kiwi and special habitats for them out of playdough and explored through art, check it out!
