Jack and the beanstalk

We were all pleased when Taini from the Marae next door brought us over some beans from the community garden for helping to water the garden, we decided to share them at afternoon tea. 

Some of the children were really familiar with what these tasted like raw and what they looked like as we had such great success last summer in our own garden with beans. 

We enjoyed the story of Jack and the bean stalk as we shared the beans and laughed together about what kind of magic our beans might make.
