Today was National Shake Out Day, where at 9.30am the country stopped what they were doing and practiced for an Earthquake together as a Nation, the children did so well with participating!!

National Shake Out Day
We regularly practice Earthquake and Fire drills here at Uxbridge. The children love to watch the 'Turtle Safe' video which was brought out by the Auckland Earthquake Commission. ...we practice our 'Turtle position' with Stan the dog. You can find this on You tube by typing 'Turtle Safe' into the search bar if you want to have a look at home too.
