our children made some grass heads. First, we put some grass seeds into a cut-out stocking, filled the rest of it with potting soil, and tied it up to make a face. Once this was finish, the children showed off their creative side at the glue gun station, using various collage materials to decorate the faces. Children can closely observe how seeds germinate and develop into tiny plants, helping them understand how plants grow. It will also be fun to watch the green ‘hair’ grow. Once they grow, the children can give their ‘Grass Heads’ a haircut. Look at these beautiful creations they have come up with. We are going to place them in a sunny spot and will wait for the hair to grow.
