Our bucket has been filled right the way to the top from so many kind and generous acts from the tamariki filling each others buckets. As a reward we had a special visitor into Uxbridge...
SPANGLE THE STORY TELLER
Spangle shared three stories with us, all of which we were familiar with:
1. The Three Billy Goats Gruff.
2. How Maui Slowed the Sun.
3. The Three Little Pigs.
With each story, Spangle got members of our class to act out the different parts of the story. Together we made invisible props and the audience all got to help with the lines and telling of the story too.
Many of the children showed great confidence to stand up the front and join in . It was nice to see some familiar stories acted out and retold in different ways to how we know them .
WELL DONE TO ALL OUR BUCKET FILLING TAMARIKI!
