A muddy mish mosh day!

Today was a day of caring for our environment! We started off weeding the mud pit, boy there was a lot of weeds but together, as a team we managed to get it done lickety split!  Once all those weeds were gone it was time to turn over the mud pit! Teacher Haley had the shovel out and Chloe R helped to squirt all the water! The mud pit was so dry from Tamanui te ra! That sun had made our mud so hard!  Well what else were we supposed to do with all that squishy mud! It was time to jump right in, slip and slide. Squelch that lovely mud through our toes and feel the cool, smooth mud on our skin! What fun!

Chloe did a great job with the hose- thank you!

Look at all those feet squelching in the mud!

Daisy, you were in your element! Stomp stomp!

Jack joined in, this was his first time in the mudpit.

Charlie made muddy handprints on her top!

Raphael had a close up look but didn't want to go in today!

Olivia worked up the courage to come into the mudpit holding teacher Laura's hand. Once she was familiar with the feel of mud she stayed in there till lucky last!
