Gravity art

Today, we had an amazing time exploring the effects of gravity through our Splat Art activity! The children climbed up to the wobbly bridge and dropped pom poms dipped in vibrant dye, experimenting with different heights and techniques to create splats. "It splatted!" "It made crazy shapes! They exclaimed. "As we observed the splats, we discussed why and how the different shapes were formed. We noticed that some pom poms fell from higher up, resulting in bigger splats. As the children watched the colours splash and spread, they learned about gravity, motion, and cause and effect. It was wonderful to see their creativity flow as they continued to experiment. Learning can be so much fun when it involves art and the outdoors!
