What a great time we had this morning exploring floating and sinking! We had a variety of different bits and pieces that we had collected to test to see if they would float or sink. Each child waited so patiently as we each had a turn to put each item in the water. Before we put our things in the water we had great conversations about whether we thought it would float or sink and why we thought this. Each child made some great predictions and had great input in our group discussions. After we tried out everything that we had on our tray each child had a walk around kindy to select something of their choice to see whether it would float ot sink. What a fun experiment!
