Racer the Lamb Visits Uxbridge

We had a special visitor at Uxbridge this week a lamb called Racer. She was very friendly and our tamariki really enjoyed the opportunity of getting close to her and even taking her for a walk around the playground!!

 Although Racer is learning how to eat grass she is still a baby and needs her bottle. The children were very excited to feed her.

 Everyone enjoyed patting Racer. We talked about how she has wool to keep her warm and how different it feels from our hair or from how our cats and dogs coats feel when we pat them.
