Space Day!!

With the Respect jar full and everyone in the centre going crazy over the Solar System we decided to have a Super Galactic Space Day!!! A Rocket landed itself downstairs, the stars were out to shine in the book corner and the lights were dimmed with the windows blacked out…. It was just like being in space!

For morning tea we made our own star fairy bread and Rocket fruit kebabs… yum yum! This gave us lots of energy to become real astronauts.

We enjoyed exploring moon sand and making alien headbands. We also made shiny astronaut belts and bubble wrap space boots. With all of this gear on the astronaut play was out full in force!!

We finished space day off with a space Disco where we got a cool space glow bracelet to take home!
