Making Paratha

Last week the children enjoyed making and eating some yummy Paratha. This is a special Indian cuisine which is a type of Roti bread stuffed with mashed potato. The children helped to cut the coriander and chives and mash up the potatoes. We made the Roti dough from scratch and rolled it out. Once the Roti were stuffed with the potato mash we fried them up and all tried some at lunch time. These went down a treat with many of the children asking for a second piece. It was nice to make and try such a unique cuisine from the Indian Culture.
