Our worm farm has been out of action for a few months now and with Conservation week upon us we decided it was time to get it set up again. When the tamariki visited Kings Plant Barn they brought us a new box of worms to use.
We watched a video online showing us the steps we needed to do with the worm farm and how we needed to look after our worms going forward. We also found our book about Worm farming which provided us with lots of useful information.
Some of the children were really eager to help and set about preparing the worm farm. We added the worms and Miller was supper careful and helpful to pick up the tiny worms from the bag and make sure they all got into the farm. We moved our Worm farm to a more shady spot and will take turns to feed and care for our worm farm.
