Moon Festival

Today we celebrated Moon festival, which is a traditional Chinese celebration to mark the change of seasons. It is held on the full moon and is a time where loved ones congregate together to have  feast and eat moon cakes.
Here at Uxbridge we enjoyed Moon play dough, Moon art and shared a feast together at lunch time.
Linh cooked us some amazing wonton's which were extremely popular with the children and we enjoyed a yummy Sago pudding with sliced banana which turned out to be equally as popular.
We has up some decoration's including the Chinese flag which sparked the children off with making their own flags that represented their own meaning.

What a wonderful celebration had by all!!
