In our story The little Kiwi's Matariki the native animals all suggest ways we can celebrate Matariki.
' Matariki?' said Tui ' Time for music and dance!" he sang to the stars.
After we read the book their were lots of ideas on how we could celebrate at Uxbridge. We love having the tamariki's ideas come to life. Gemma and Marley also suggested that we should be celebrating by dancing so that's exactly what we did!
We learnt by watching some experts on the computer and gave it a good go!
