A tiger who came to tea

Today we read the book "A Tiger who Came to Tea." written by Judith Kerr
It's a well known and well loved book here at Uxbridge.

Extending our ideas a group of children painted tigers with Indian Ink.
It had a different smell and dried slightly shinier today which the children noticed.
We had to wait for the ink to dry before colouring in our tigers.
Then, the children picked food that their tiger would eat.
They used dye, crayon, scissors and glue to add details to their pictures.
Sitting around in a group we chit chatted about the story, what would happen if the tiger visited Uxbridge... What he would eat from their lunchboxes.

Take a look at their process today:

" Mine has two cheeks."

"Look at my one!"-Jack

"Mine has strips and legs." Hudson

" Can I colour all this in?"- Chloe
"Of course, you are the artist Chloe!"-Laura

"Mine is going to eat this bread."-Summer

"It's eating it!"
