Hands Alive Puppet Show! Celebrating our enjoyment of Story Telling!

On Wednesday 3rd April, we celebrated our enjoyment of Story telling with a special visit from the puppets of Hands Alive.  With our imagination switched on we sat eagerly with anticipation as the show began.  As we were taken on a journey we met a plethora of interesting characters each with their own stories to tell.  Forgetful Grandpa lost his hat, a very cheerful singing caterpillar who turned into the most beautiful butterfly and a brother and sister who went on a lion hunt and found a friendly lion.  We met a turtle who got stuck on his back and non-one could flip him over untill a very helpful elephant succeeded with much perseverance.  In all the excitement the elephant ended up squirting us all with water!!  We met a cat who was on a journey of self discovery to find out what he was good at and he ended up being the hero of the day and catching the mouse that kept popping up throughout the show.  We had so much fun, we wished it didn't have to end but we can continue to joy of storytelling here at Uxbridge everyday!
